A Promenade Proposal (Brooklyn, NY) :: Engagement Photography

My first instructions last night were "be on the further end and hiding."  Because proposals require so much effort and planning, it can be a bit stressful photographing because there's a limited amount of time to capture expression and a risk of having your view obstructed.

Last night's proposal on the Brooklyn promenade was quick and fun - there was a professional ukelele player who nonchalantly walked up to the couple and started playing two songs - "You are the Sunshine of My life" and "Over the Rainbow." In the third photo, he is the man sitting alone wearing sunglasses.  The weather couldnt have been more perfect in the city!
